• Ben's episode of MI High "Call me A.L." won the RTS award for Best Children's Drama

• Small Talk Diaries won Best Series and Best Innovation at the Wildscreen Festival, Ben and co-writer Richie Webb were nominated as best writers too. It was the only children's series nominated in any general category and beat David Attenborough's Life in Cold Blood to win. The series also won "best live action TV prog" at the Chicago International Children’s Festival.

This series won the Grand Award for Children's Television at the New York Television Festival and was nominated for two Children's BAFTAs (including best original writer for Ben) and an RTS award.
